How Pistos Information Protection handles information collected through this website.
Effective date: August 10, 2026
Pistos Information Protection LLC ("Pistos," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This statement explains what information we collect through pistosip.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this marketing website only. Information handled within the Pistos platform (for example, app.pistosip.com) is governed by the separate agreement between Pistos and its client.
When you complete a form on the Site — such as requesting a briefing or an assessment — you may provide your name, organization, email address, the regulatory framework you are focused on, and any message you write. You choose what to share; email and name are the only fields we ask you to complete.
When you visit the Site, our hosting and form providers automatically receive standard technical information in their server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to operate and secure the Site.
We do not use web analytics, advertising networks, or cross-site tracking cookies on this Site. The Site is a static website and does not set marketing or profiling cookies.
We use the information described above to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We share personal information only as needed to run the Site and our business:
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a record of our business communications, and then delete or de-identify it when it is no longer required for those purposes or to meet a legal obligation. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your choices" and "California privacy rights" below).
As a cybersecurity firm, we apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information this Site collects, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This Site does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. Because we do not track visitors across sites, we do not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals; there is no cross-site tracking to disable.
You can choose not to submit information through the Site, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have provided by emailing help@pistosip.com. If we have emailed you, you can ask us to stop at any time.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information.
Categories we collect. In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name and email address) and professional information (such as your organization and regulatory focus), together with the limited internet and device information described above. We collect these from you directly and automatically through your use of the Site.
Purposes. We use these categories for the purposes described in "How we use information." We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
No sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Your rights. Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email help@pistosip.com with your request. We will verify your request using the email address and details on file before responding, and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This statement does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy notices.
We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised statement.
